NJSBDC Presents Online Training Program for Entrepreneurs
Newark, N.J. (Jan. 14, 2008) – The New Jersey Small Business Development Centers (NJSBDC) is offering a series of four online courses for business entrepreneurs. Course topics include Business Q&A, How to Start a New Business; Financing, How to Make Lenders Pay Attention to Your Business; Marketing Strategies, How to Reach Target Markets While Fitting Your Budget; and The Business Plan.
“These online training programs are easily accessible and affordable for busy entrepreneurs looking to start a new business or grow their enterprises,” said
Nat Bender, Director of NJSBDC’s E- Business Services program, who moderates the online courses. “The training sessions connect entrepreneurs to NJSBDC’s network of consultants who share their expertise on topics that are helpful to entrepreneurs. The best part is the convenience. Participants can access the courses anywhere with a PC or PDA and a phone,” said Bender.
Busy entrepreneurs can take advantage of the convenient scheduling of the training programs, which are presented on a variety of dates and times to best accommodate participants’ scheduling needs. The online training programs offered by the NJSBDC are completed in one session.
Business Q&A sessions run on Tues., Jan. 15th from 12:00 -12:50 p.m.; Wed., Feb. 13th from 9:00 – 9:50 a.m. or Thurs., March 13th from 12:00 – 12:50 p.m. Financing sessions are offered on Tues., Jan. 22nd from 12:00- 12:50p.m.; Wed., Feb. 27th from 9:00– 9:50 a.m. or Thurs., March 20th from 12:00 – 12:50 p.m. Marketing Strategies sessions run on Tues., Jan. 29th from 12:00 – 12:50 p.m.; Wed., March 5th from 9:00 – 9:50 a.m. or Thurs., March 27th from 12:00 – 12:50 p.m. The Business Plan sessions are offered on Tues., Feb. 5th from 12:00 – 12:50 p.m.; Wed., Feb. 20th from 9:00 – 9:50 a.m. or Thurs., April 3rd from 12:00 – 12:50 p.m.
Pre-registration is required to attend all courses. Registration is $25 per course, or $75 for the full set of four courses, a savings of $25.
